Poor bastards...

So a state is going to charge companies for workers on Medicaid. Hmm, let's see if I'm hearing you right, these companies will now be responsible for paying for a government program whereby the poorest workers among them will receive their Medicaid benefits paid by their employer. That's not enough. And it's another ruse. This sort of cost shifting has been done before and both parties are to blame.

For years now America's largest employers have stocked their job roles with low cost (part-time) workers woefully underpaying them and effectively shuffling them onto the backs of the rest of us via the myriad of government programs the pitifully paid qualify for, i.e. Medicaid, SNAP, yada yada. Still the Republicans would rather flush the lot of them into the Potomac rather than own up to the situation they helped create.

Favoring bizznez over people, the GOP has fomented an underclass and they hate them. And when a Democrat dares call them out they're branded as communists and enemies of "the state." Hmm, where have we read that before? 1984? Animal Farm? The New York Times? Yup.

Of course I'm speaking to people that actually read. MAGAs don't read anything deeper than Fezbook, Truthiness Social, or some sub-Reddits. Books are too long. Excepting maybe that crunchy piss colored copy of the Turner Diaries next to the toilet, "Ah reed a cupple pages wile I do mah bidnez."

SCOTUS said back in 2010 that it was fine those businesses could throw money at politicians as much as they damn well pleased. Hmm, it doesn't take a billionaire to explain that one. If a company is having trouble with their workers, FIRE THEM! Call them socialist rabble-rousers or Commies knowing the Supreme court said I can pay BIG MONEY to some super PAC and pretty soon there will be a law to back me up. And where do you think they get the money?

If you can't figure a clear answer to that one try reading up on the Antebellum period in our history for some context. Oh wait, if you're MAGA, here's the quick skinny: cheap labor = HUGE profits.

Who says guvmint don't work for the people?
