College president t-boned by clown car

George Mason University's president, Gregory Washington is being harangued by POTUS and his minions for not being conservative [white] enough. Some of that there DEI stuff got into their system and done corrupted. Says who? Says the POTUS and his kind. So it must be true.

Look, GMU sends me a little primer on all things CONservative and nascent within the neo-con world every month. So how is it that the president of said institution of libertarianism has a target on his back? Curiously, he's black. As in African-American descent. Dark skinned fellow speaks eloquently enough that he sounds quite neo-con but not enough for POTUS and his butt-boys-n-girls.

So they [sans proof] are mounting a concerted effort to kick the closet lefty to the curb. And by doing so rid the institution of his ilk and I'm thinking, pressing for another sycophant to replace him with? All under the guise of antisemitism. Gimme a friggin break!

But to what end would they be thinking this is a good thing? Turn an already too-white institution more white? What was Mr. Washington thinking taking the job at GMU knowing full well their penchant for butt-boy politics? Denial is a terrible thing. Especially in the time of hit-n-run politics.

Mr. Farley and the Founder...

This world as made by CEOs is not a pretty one for the chronically underpaid. But just now a glimmer of hope. A corner turned maybe. We'll see. It didn't happen right away the first time so we should not be getting anywhere near comfortable. What the hell am I going on about? Glad you asked.

But first, a little history... we know how ol' Henry Ford learned to make automobiles fast and cheap. He vertically integrated his entire system. Mr. Ford realized that buying raw products in bulk allowed him to control quality and costs. Naturally he kept wages where they were at the time too, at a minimum.

One day Henry realized that his employees could never hope to enjoy the fruits of their labor due to the wages he wasn't paying. He was making cars for the people and the people in his employ had made him fabulously wealthy. It was time to give back some of what they earned for him. Henry doubled wages company wide overnight.

You might think that was a bold move after all he had a board of directors to answer to. But remember, ol' Henry maintained absolute control of everything. The board bitched but history tells us who won. And it made them all even richer. That's why Henry was crestfallen when forced into a corner by the new up and comers, the union. Eventually he understood that for other companies to follow his lead it had to be a matter of contract rather than largess.

So just now the CEO of Henry's legacy, a man named Farley, has decided to do something similar. He discovered many of his newer younger workers were having to take side gigs with Amazon in order to make ends meet in this increasingly expensive world. He realized what ol' Henry did, you gotta dance with those that brung ya! Besides, no one ever went broke by being generous to the earners. Good on ya, brother! Ford just earned my next ride.

As a side note, the big box company where I worked for a time is union-proofed for that exact reason. All of the assistant managers maintain a side hustle (full-time job) just to make ends meet. To work for that company is nothing more than indentured servitude salved with platitudes, cheap pizza and badges. Their founders own sports teams, stadiums, yachts and jets while 75% of their employees do not make enough to support their families on what they take home. They're currently number one in their industry.

I dare say every company represented on Wall Street treats their employees exactly the same. Abigail Disney pointed that fact out a few years ago with an inquiry into the current spate of CEOs in America. She found that Disney's leadership was just the same as other mega corps. No better and no worse. This has to change if people--if America is to survive.

Unions made the middle class and it was growth in union jobs that made the America everyone remembers. Not some New York real estate developer cum peckerwood politician. Funny, I don't hear anything about bolstering unions or increasing wages for workers from that cocksucker. Though he sure is taking care of him and his kind, isn't he?

So if you want to make America great again, start with strengthening the unions. They're the ones that made it great the first time. They delivered on the American dream. Pay a person enough and they'll buy their own pizza.

Bombs awaaaaaaayyyyy...

It was about time. I hate it that it was Trump who did it. Joe could've. Heck, Obama could've. He got Bin Laden so why not? So to do the deed, Israel, the sworn enemy of every Muslim on the planet needed us to drop the big one or a hundred on Iran's nuclear ambitions. Whatever. It was a great example of Trump's determination too. He can be swayed but he's a tyrant so when he wants something, people scramble to please without regards to whether he should or if it's legal. No matter. Thy will be done. Blessed be.

So it won't do much on its own. Dropping a few MOPs on an evacuated nuclear facility. I'm not sure it will eliminate anything except for the MOPs. And the cash it took to fly a couple of B2s around the world. Pretty cool those birds. Expensive. Scary. Just like they need to be. Just like those wicked Shadow vessels in Babylon 5.

Thing is, Iranians are people too. Duplicitous, beautiful, devious, gracious, ignorant, brilliant, and maybe religious to a fault... just like us! They want what Pakistan has and maybe juuuuuuust a bit more. Just like us! Listen, I don't want nuclear jihadis anymore than the next freedom [nuclear] loving nation. But freedom has its price and we may suffer the lesson taught yet again after the test. Seems we're damned that way. Humans that we are.

Always in short supply...

So it seems that Congress has been relegated to little more than a rubber stamp for POTUS' official edicts. The sound of silence coming from the Right over any of the very real and lasting subversion of our constitution is earsplitting. And the gutting will continue until we pour sand in the intake of DOGE and fire that brilliant Neo-Nazi before he takes to running down seal pups on live stream with a spike-tired CyberTruck. Or ramming the iceberg out from under a family of starving polar bears with his super yacht.

These puddin-heads are NOT doing our bidding. We wanted reduction, not destruction. We wanted honest accounting not career assassinations of honest hardworking people. We wanted less of the slippery slope and more terra firma. We wanted less swamp and more concrete. We want high paying jobs and a real chance at improving our families' lives. And the only tranny we care about is the one being replaced in the pickup come payday.

Speaking of trans, we need people and especially OUR people and sometimes they're just plain weird. But they're still lovable. Your bro might be a sistuh now. So what? That person is still your bro. They just  have tits now and their voice is more like your mom's. I miss one of my bros but she's on a different path now. I support her and talk with her whenever possible. He used to be a pretty good pool player. I wonder if she is.

Christ knew what would always be in short supply--love. Love without reserve or constraint. Love unceasing and unwavering. Love that transcends our suppositions and superstitions. The continuous plucking of the heart strings kind of love. Love is all we need. Love sweet love. No not just for some, but for everyone.

If it smells like...

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, well...

I made a prediction about Trump back in 2016 that he would destroy the Republican party. Most folks called me crazy and claimed he was out to destroy the Democrats. You know, those neighbors, family and friends that hold different opinions about some things. Yeah, them! The enemy of the people He calls them.

But he's a business man, they say. He can turn the ship around, they say. He's fixing all the ills of our once great land. He was sent by Gawd, they claim. Not that Jesus guy. Jesus was a loser, he says. He got caught and crucified. Loser!

Funny he said the same thing about our servicemen who were "dumb" enough to get shot down, captured and tortured. Losers! Yet his minions, along with a good number of servicemen, claim he's the best. Even better than that wood-toothed sumbitch. Little do they know that Trump doesn't consider them at all.

The REAL losers are the American people. Half the voters believed his spew. He inflated their closest held misgivings about our government while conflating the cause with illegal immigrants and the laissez faire approach of the past presidente's. And that there is fraud and waste and hobgoblins and imported murderers running rampant all over this once great land. MAGAs believe Trump's the shit. Just ask one.

The rest of us just can't get past the smell.

Night of the long knives v2.0

Ernst Röhm learned the hard way about wanting too much too soon in front of his master. The Night of the Long Knives was the Nazi blood purge of 1934 whereby Röhm was done in by his own naked ambition running counter to the machinations of Hitler's other two henchmen, Himmler and Goering. Those two sought to discredit Röhm and undermine his contributions to the Reich which were substantial. He created the infamous Brown Shirts. Soon enough, Hitler broke with one of his earliest and arguably closest minions and even lead the purge personally, pistol in hand.

Trump doesn't have that in him. The actual chutzpah and cojones for getting his hands dirty. They're too small and coated in Teflon. Makes it hard for him to hold chopsticks much less a firearm, I'm told. Melania likes to feed him spaghetti while wearing a clear plastic raincoat. And nothing else. I've heard she insisted on the raincoat ever since 2010 after his ass fell.

We all need to thank the Almighty for Trump. Not in the rabid MAGA sense but rather in understanding that this guy is dangerous but could be a whole lot worse if he were truly intelligent. If Machiavelli understood it five hundred years ago then we should take solace. By which I mean if we judge the Prince by the people he gathers around him then VOILA! Trump surrounds himself with sycophants, true-believers and KoolAid swilling wannabes. I heard they keep one of those old-timey self-serve KoolAid Machines just inside the foyer of the White House. I think it helps to hammer a shot before entering the residence.

So if by that measurement purveyed by the famous Florentine political baller then it could be much worse say if the shill or be killed blondie behind the press room podium was actually a Goebbels we'd be in deep doodoo. If Hegseth were a Goering we'd be in deeper and if Tulsi Gabbard were a Himmler, we'd be so screwed it brings a chill to this old warm heart. So take heart, NONE of these are anything like the aforementioned Nazis. Not that they don't wannabe...

The clown car is on fire...

Has anyone in a MAGA hat ever smelled burning plastic? If they had they'd have noticed that the clown car is on fire and the driver is busy elsewhere. Perhaps preening for the cameras? Oh sure, he has a man-date (sounds a little queer to me) from all the little people. Riiiiiiight. Thankfully, it's fastened to the top of a blood-red velvet pillow placed upon a gilded kneeling bench. Really is quite ceremonious.

It looks like a cock ring but actually it is an 18k gilt piston ring from a Soviet-era Lada sedan. It was a gift from his special comrade. Vlad had it made just for him. For those unfamiliar with the Lada, it had a tiny engine. Little engine little piston rings. But this one is an all-in-one surveillance tool with a hidden 4K camera-microphone and a GPS locator. Trump keeps it on the credenza behind the Resolute desk for when important stuff happens. Like taking a blow torch to the world economy or stripping people of their rights and citizenship for not voting for him.

So let's see what else this POTUS has done in his first (er uh 2nd) hundred days compliments of the NYT.

The Trump Administration’s First 100 Days
